Production Process of Polyurethane Casting

Every polyurethane casting we produce goes through the same five-stage process, refined over 25 years to deliver consistent, high-quality container wheels batch after batch.

1. Material Selection. Every polyurethane casting starts with our proprietary compound, chosen and tested for the strength, wear resistance, and hardness the application demands. Each batch of raw material is quality-checked before it enters production.

2. Molding. Precision molds shape the polyurethane into the exact wheel tread profile specified for the job. Our mold technicians control every variable (temperature, timing, pressure) to keep tolerances tight and treads consistent from wheel to wheel.

3. Casting. We cast the liquid polyurethane under carefully controlled conditions to hit the right balance of flexibility and load-bearing strength. This is where shore hardness is set, and where the wheel’s long-term wear resistance is built in.

4. Curing. Curing hardens the polyurethane to its final properties, giving the wheel its resistance to temperature swings, chemical exposure, and the repeated impact of heavy-duty use.

5. Quality Control. Before a wheel leaves our facility, it’s inspected against our dimensional, hardness, and load-capacity specifications. Wheels that don’t meet spec don’t ship.
