One of the services we offer is the manufacturing of steel castings. We have experience in casting complex structures and have the capability of providing customized solutions. Some parts of the shipping container caster we produce are made of cast iron or cast steel. The wheel centers, for example, are made of cast iron. With the high-quality polyurethane poured around the wheel centers, the wheel’s structure is produced. Additionally, the twistlock mechanism placed on top of the housings is made out of cast steel. For standard 20-foot or 40-foot ISO shipping containers, the most essential cast steel parts are corner castings. These critical components provide structural strength, ensure safe stacking, and facilitate secure handling.

For modified or custom containers, the configuration of cast steel parts can vary to meet specific design and functionality requirements. Whatever your container needs, our high-quality corner castings are built to meet ISO standards and ensure reliable performance.

Corner Castings

• Each container typically uses 8 corner castings (one at each corner of the container).
• These components are crucial for structural strength, stacking, and handling during transport.

Locking Mechanisms

• In some cases, locking components or fittings (such as twist-locks) are made from cast steel, though these are not always directly integrated into the container itself.
